One of my best memories with you is the time we spent in Amsterdam. Just walking around the city, talking about anything, getting to know each other but having this strange feeling of already knowing you.
As a little kid, I remember that Grandpa and Grandma always kept your picture in the center of the shelf that was right at my eye level. I always wanted to meet my cousin Michael. I remember well when we were finally able to email and when you visited for the first time - what a day of rejoicing our family had when we were able to see you and have you with us!! You and Marie (and now Ella) are such a blessing to us all!
I will comment on a time you won't remember but I have pictures that prove it happened. Your mom came to Steve's graduation from CBC when you were about 8 months old. That was the first time we were able to see you. We were very excited and you were so cute. We spent a day together and had a great time with you. I knew that it was probably the last time I would see you for a long time since we were moving to California.
